Gaining Opportunities Leveraging Fairways

Color of Golf began as a simple but powerful idea in 2017 when founder Dawn Sneed saw how much working professionals—especially women and minorities—were missing out on opportunities happening on the golf course. She started bringing people together to learn the game, build confidence, and use golf as a tool for business growth and career advancement. What started as a small group has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a big mission: to empower least represented groups of  professionals and youth through mentorship, networking, and community.

Today, Color of Golf continues to grow and is proudly supported by resources and tools available through Naturally Equipped LLC and other strategic partnerships.

Color of Golf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering underrepresented youth, professionals, and small business owners by using golf as a catalyst for leadership development, building confidence, and professional growth. We offer mentorship, business and networking opportunities while participating in purposeful community-building experiences that help individuals advance both personally and professionally.  

Through our youth empowerment and networking program we provide support for youth golf organizations, launch Fairway Fund, and curate inclusive golf and business events.  We will cultivate pathways that inspire growth, leadership and lifelong success—on and beyond the course.
