Giving Tuesday
Color of Golf is a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization formed to expose underrepresented youth, women and small businesses to the game of golf by providing tangible and intangible developmental opportunities. Our purpose is to provide scholarships that support tournament entry fees, golf lessons and golf equipment for underrepresented youth while also providing mentorship and leadership development. Additionally, we will support women-owned businesses with intentional networking opportunities and lend in-kind or financial support to aid in their success.

Why We Do It
Founder, Dawn Sneed, recognized a gap in this space and in 2017 decided to create her own community to fulfil this void and in 2025 formed the Color of Golf. Dawn knew the game of golf provided more than recreation and sport. She learned that golf builds confidence, develops patience and discipline, improves physical and mental health while also creating opportunities to build new personal and professional relationships.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting our community to help us lay the foundation for impactful initiatives for the year ahead. At Color of Golf, we believe the game of golf is more than a sport — it’s a powerful platform for opportunity. Through our programs, we empower youth, women and small business owners to leverage the game as a catalyst for education, leadership, and professional growth.
